It just means so much, and I felt so honored and touched by it. Earlier this week there was a dinner with all the nominees in your category, and so I was at dinner with these huge costume designers that I’ve respected for so many years, and I was like, God, I can’t believe I’m here. Then on top of it, they’ve been so supportive, and it’s really nice to have that sense of community. There’s no sense of competitiveness. We all share in the hard work that’s involved in costume design.
